As Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of matters, working closely with senior stakeholders throughout the organisation. The role offers exposure to commercial contracts, technology and digital projects, procurement, data protection, intellectual property, governance and regulatory matters.
This is a genuinely varied and visible position, ideal for a lawyer who enjoys partnering with the business, solving complex problems and contributing to the success of a purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Advising senior stakeholders on legal risk and strategic initiatives.
- Supporting technology, procurement and transformation projects.
- Providing pragmatic advice on data protection, intellectual property and governance matters.
- Helping shape legal processes, best practice and risk management across the organisation.
About You
- UK qualified solicitor or barrister.
- Strong commercial legal experience gained in-house and/or in private practice.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
- Comfortable building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
