The Role
You will join the firm’s specialist Disputes team with a focus on construction insurance. The role will involve advising insurers and major industry stakeholders on complex, high-value contentious matters arising within the construction sector. This includes coverage disputes, policy interpretation, and defending claims with exposure to multi-jurisdictional issues. The position involves working closely with senior stakeholders and leading on intricate claims, offering high levels of autonomy and strategic input.
What They’re Looking For
- 8+ years’ post-qualification experience in construction disputes and insurance matters
- Proven capability in managing complex, high-value contentious cases
- Deep understanding of policy coverage, claims processes, and related regulations
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior team members
- Commercial awareness and exceptional client relationship management abilities
