The Role
This role sits within a sponsor‑focused finance practice advising on real estate‑backed acquisition financings, refinancings and recapitalisations. The work involves leveraged facilities, private credit and unitranche structures, and complex security packages over property‑heavy portfolios.
The practice operates at the intersection of real estate finance, leveraged finance and special situations, with transactions frequently involving alternative lenders and cross‑border elements. Associates are given early responsibility and exposure to the full lifecycle of transactions within fast‑paced deal teams.
What They’re Looking For
- England & Wales qualified associate with NQ-6 years’ PQE.
- Experience or training in real estate finance, leveraged finance or asset‑backed acquisition finance.
- Exposure to sponsor‑led or investor‑driven financing transactions involving real estate or infrastructure assets.
- Strong drafting skills and a solid technical foundation across facility and security documentation.
- Comfortable working in lean teams with early responsibility in demanding deal environments.
