This newly created role will support the execution of commercial real estate debt and equity transactions, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and operational excellence across the closing process.

As the Associate or AVP, Closing Group, you will be responsible for:

* Supporting the closing process for commercial real estate debt and equity transactions, partnering closely with internal investment teams and external counsel.
* Managing all aspects of transaction execution, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely delivery across stakeholders.
* Reviewing, analyzing, and coordinating documentation for complex and high‑volume transactions, including follow‑up diligence and secondary closings.
* Collaborating with originators to create consistency in templates, processes, and legal frameworks.
* Driving workflow improvements by identifying and implementing process enhancements and technology‑enabled efficiencies.
* Managing multiple concurrent deals with precision, organization, and accountability.
* Adapting to evolving deal structures and internal systems, maintaining a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.

To be successful in this role our client is looking for a:

* Commercial real estate professional with at least 3 years of experience in transactions, ideally with 2-3 years of Big Law CRE experience
* Candidate with demonstrated experience closing debt and equity deals and managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
* Detail‑oriented individual with strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to operate autonomously.
* Professional with strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
* Technologically curious individual with proficiency in Microsoft Office and an openness to leveraging AI.
* Adaptable, relationship‑driven team member who thrives in a collaborative, high‑work‑ethic environment.
