The Role
This role sits within a market‑leading debt finance team advising on leveraged acquisition financings, refinancings and related sponsor‑driven transactions. The practice covers a broad range of financing products, including syndicated facilities, private credit and unitranche structures, as well as more complex and evolving capital structures.
The team operates with lean deal staffing and close sponsor interaction, offering associates early responsibility and exposure to the full lifecycle of transactions. Much of the work is cross‑border in nature, with regular collaboration across international offices.
What They’re Looking For
- England & Wales qualified associate with 0.5-5 years’ PQE.
- Experience in leveraged finance, acquisition finance or related debt work.
- Interest in developing a sponsor‑side focused debt finance practice.
- Strong technical ability, drafting skills and commercial judgement.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced deal environments with early responsibility.
