My client, a leading international law firm is seeking experienced Business Development Manager for their APAC business – the role is based in Hong Kong.

This is a hands-on role, working closely with partners and fee earners across APAC to drive revenue generation and growth. The role will support all practice groups including Corporate Finance, Litigation, IP, and TMT.

What you will be doing:

· Contributes to the development, prioritization, and implementation of business development plans for the APAC offices

· Lead on the preparation of proposals/RFPs/presentations in coordination with attorneys. Keep track of pitch-wins and losses

· Drives a strategic focus on developing business in areas such as investment management, corporate transactions, and disputes, investigations, and international sanctions across Asia.

· Works with various practice groups and the wider Business Development and marketing team across the global network

We are looking for:

· 6+ years’ experience of progressively responsible business development experience gained within a well-recognized law firm (International or Local)

· Excellent writing and proofreading skills are required, including the ability to manage business correspondence in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

· Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and ability to learn new IT skills such as digital marketing systems, InterAction and other database systems.
