The Role
The firm is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years’ PQE to join its highly ranked Charities and Community team. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters for prominent UK and international clients in the charity and not-for-profit sector. Work will include:
- Charity structuring and restructuring
- Governance and constitutional matters
- Advising on trading arrangements and non-charitable subsidiaries
- Charity tax and fundraising regulation
- Supporting on mergers, reorganisations and compliance projects
- You will also have the opportunity to contribute to thought leadership, client training and business development initiatives.
What They’re Looking For
- 2-5 PQE, ideally with charity law experience
- Strong academic record and excellent communication skills
- Experience or a strong interest in governance, constitutional and regulatory matters
- Ability to manage smaller projects independently while supporting on larger mandates
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
