Join us for our General Counsel roundtable discussion as we delve into developments in the voluntary carbon markets.
While the carbon markets have matured and evolved, there remains much-needed standardisation and transparency. Demand for high-quality carbon credits continue to soar as the voluntary carbon market grows at a record pace. In this roundtable discussion, we will examine recent developments in the voluntary carbon markets and CIX’s role in facilitating the sale of large-scale high quality carbon credits.
Joining us will be Peter Zaman from HFW, who will share his insights in a presentation titled “Demystifying critical concepts of the voluntary carbon markets”. Peter is a global market leader in his field, with expertise spanning commodities, derivatives, structured products and climate finance. He has been active in climate finance and environmental products markets since 2004.
This will be followed by a discussion moderated by Hai Tran, the Head of Legal and Compliance from CIX. Hai is well-placed to share unique perspectives, given CIX’s role as a global carbon exchange and marketplace.
Bryan McCann, Commercial Director from CIX will share practical insights relating to the available types of carbon credits. Bryan will share more about CIX’s role in advancing and ensuring the responsible use of credible, quality credits.
