You will be providing real estate legal support to the business in achieving its goals and objectives, whilst helping to protect the company’s legal interests. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of real estate related legal matters and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will oversee a vast portfolio of stores in the UK and Ireland with the potential to get involved in other European jurisdictions. You will collaborate closely with the real estate and acquisition teams while engaging external counsel, enjoying a high level of autonomy and responsibility.

This role would best suit someone who has around 5-10+ years’ PQE as this will be a senior position, however all levels will be considered. You’ll have working in a recognised law firm and/or a well-known in-house team handling a variety of Real Estate matters. A strong knowledge and understanding of property laws, regulations, and legal principles is essential. Experience acting for retail tenants will be beneficial. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels, with an ability to influence. You will have good commercial awareness, with a pragmatic, solution-based approach to issues, and an ability to think at a risk-focussed level.
