Senior Compliance Officer

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join a leading international corporate services provider. This role is part of the second line of defense and focuses on ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will provide strategic advice to the business, oversee client onboarding and re-acceptance processes, and monitor transactions throughout the client lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute second-line compliance processes for onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Conduct client due diligence and ongoing transaction monitoring.
- Advise the business and management on compliance matters and integrity risks.
- Maintain and develop the Systematic Integrity Risk Assessment (SIRA).
- Support policy improvements and deliver compliance training to staff.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments, including Wtt 2018, Wwft, and EU AML regulations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in law or business administration.
- Experience in the trust or corporate services sector is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Wtt 2018 and Wwft procedures.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical with strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
