Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team and support a busy real estate practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently, and brings top-notch organizational skills to complex property transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, closing statements, title affidavits, and deeds
  • Assist attorneys in coordinating real estate closings and managing escrow accounts
  • Conduct title and lien searches and summarize findings for legal review
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and local government offices
  • Maintain and organize files related to residential and commercial property matters
  • Ensure compliance with local and state regulations for real estate documentation

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or paralegal certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a real estate law firm or legal department handling property matters
  • Familiarity with Delaware real estate laws and local court systems is a strong plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate software platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
