Property Litigation Solicitor – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

A leading City law firm ranked in the Top 200 is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its highly regarded disputes team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collegiate and well-established team, advising a broad client base on a wide range of contentious property matters across both commercial and residential sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
You will manage a varied caseload including:
- Possession claims
- Service charge disputes
- Statutory and voluntary lease extensions
- Rights of first refusal
- Assured Shorthold Tenancies
- Exercising landlord and tenant break notices
- Collective enfranchisement claims
- Recovery of rent and service charge arrears
- Debt claims
- Lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (opposed and unopposed)
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in property litigation
- Strong technical knowledge and experience across both commercial and residential landlord and tenant matters
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to commence in December 2025
