Legal Counsel – Commercial

Location: Birmingham (hybrid) or Remote, UK

About Us: Our client, a leading technology company, is currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team. This position offers flexibility, with the option to work either in Birmingham (hybrid) or remotely from anywhere in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide reliable and commercially focused advice to support Sales teams in deal closures.
  • Assist in contract negotiations, including Master Services Agreements, NDAs, SOWs, Partner Agreements, and contractual amendments, particularly in the area of Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders across various departments.

Qualifications: Desirable Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably with in-house or technology sector exposure.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial/IT services agreements, with a specific emphasis on Software as a Service (SaaS).
