A brand new role has emerged with a client of ours, interested in expanding their legal team and establishing a presence in the MEA region.

- Run your own MEA region. You’ll get support of course, but you’ll be in the driving seat too.

What you’ll be doing:
- Covering the Middle East and Africa region, you’ll be assisting the business in driving expansion, M&A and general commercial matters.
- Additional matters will cover disputes, insurance, bids, tenders and outside counsel management.
- Board, shareholder, compliance, governance and regulatory responsibilities.
- HR and employment issues as and when they arise.
Who you’ll likely need to be in order to succeed:
Whilst there is a degree of flexibility, there are some core guidelines that make the backbone of the client expectations:
- Have a corporate and commercial skill set, but ideally also with exposure to private equity and M&A.
- Deal driven, problem solving, ‘can do’ attitude where you take a collaborative approach.
- At least 8+ PQE, with a combination of a strong law firm background, and ideally some in-house work.
- Fluent English is essential, French is helpful.
