We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join a growing and highly regarded Financial Services Regulatory team within a mid-tier national law firm. This is your chance to work alongside a dynamic and collaborative team, advising on complex regulatory matters across the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a broad range of financial services regulatory matters, including superannuation, insurance, funds management, and AFS licensing.
- Draft and review regulatory documentation and provide strategic advice on compliance and governance.
- Manage matters with autonomy while collaborating with senior lawyers and mentoring junior team members.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio of financial institutions and service providers.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years of post-admission experience in financial services regulatory law, ideally within a private practice or in-house legal team.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: superannuation, general and life insurance, funds management, or financial licensing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a genuine interest in mentoring and team development.
