Our client, a heavyweight international UK-headquartered international law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its highly respected employment practice on a fixed term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a top‑tier team advising major multinational businesses on a wide range of employment matters.
The Role:
You will support on a varied mix of contentious, advisory, and corporate support employment work, including:
- Employment litigation across tribunals and higher courts
- Day‑to‑day advisory matters such as performance, grievances, disciplinary issues, whistleblowing and senior exits
- Providing strategic support on sensitive internal employment issues
- Drafting and updating employment contracts, handbooks and policies
- Working closely with corporate teams on employment aspects of transactions, restructures and due diligence
- Coordinating multi‑jurisdictional advice for international clients
The work is high‑quality, fast‑paced and often sensitive, offering exposure to complex and strategically important matters.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience as an Employment Solicitor gained at a top City law firm
- Solid experience across both contentious and advisory employment work
- Exposure to employment support on corporate/M&A matters
- Excellent technical ability and strong drafting skills
- A confident, organised approach to managing your caseload
- The ability to work collaboratively within a busy, supportive team
