Derivatives / ISDA Solicitor – 9-12 Month FTC

Our client, a prestigious US City law firm is seeking a skilled Derivatives Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its market-leading team on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing, international practice known for its expertise in structured finance, derivatives, and regulatory matters.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating ISDA documentation, including:

  • Master Agreements
  • Credit Support Annexes
  • Confirmations
  • Related collateral and netting arrangements

You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers advising a sophisticated client base, including investment banks, asset managers, and corporates, on a range of transactional and regulatory issues relating to derivatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience in ISDA documentation and derivatives transactions
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks affecting derivatives (e.g. EMIR, Dodd-Frank) is advantageous
  • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
