Taylor Root have partnered with an Elite UK law firm, in their search for an experienced Paralegal to join their Pensions & Corporate Insurance team in the firms London office.
The Firm
Our client is a distinctive and well-known law firm in London combining a unique sense of city law firm with an international reputation and presence. They have a fantastic reputation across most transactional areas of law including corporate.
The Team
The pensions and corporate insurance team, which sits within the firms wider Macfarlanes’ corporate & M&A group, assist on all aspects of large and complex transactions, usually for insurers & reinsurers. Client include several of the largest and most significant insurers and reinsurers in the sector.
The Role
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a broad range of work, including:
- supporting fee-earners on complex transactional deals, from opening to closing, including co-ordinating signings;
- drafting and keeping the groups precedents up to date;
- providing matter management support when working as the dedicated paralegal on a particular client;
- undertaking legal research; and
- contributing to and maintaining the teams’ know how; and keeping colleagues up to date with developments in their respective areas
