A leading national law firm is seeking to appoint Associates and Senior Associates with 2-7 years’ post‑qualification experience to join its highly regarded Corporate M&A and private capital practice. The team is recognised for its depth of expertise and its involvement in high‑value, complex transactions across key sectors including infrastructure, mining and the energy transition.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with senior practitioners who are widely acknowledged for their capabilities in both public and private M&A. The role will involve exposure to a broad range of matters, including:
- Public company takeovers and schemes of arrangement
- Major private equity transactions
- Cross‑border investments and foreign investment regulatory approvals
- Consortium arrangements and private capital structures
- Corporate governance and board advisory matters

Candidate Requirements
- 2-7 years’ PQE in M&A, private equity or capital markets
- Demonstrated experience managing workstreams on complex transactions
- Strong technical capability and sound commercial judgement
- Ability to engage effectively with clients including corporates, financial sponsors and institutional investors
- Commitment to high‑quality work and professional development
