Position Overview:

SEG Solar is seeking an Associate-Level Contract Attorney to support our General Counsel, COO, CEO and sales team in managing and negotiating purchase agreements, long-term supply agreements, and other commercial contracts. This role requires a detail-oriented, business-minded attorney who can handle both complex negotiations and day-to-day legal tasks-including sending formal notices, default letters, FME, and similar communications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, long-term supply agreements, subcontracts, and service agreements.

* Provide clear, business-focused legal advice on contract terms, payment structures,

insurance, bonding, and compliance.

* Prepare and send formal notices, default letters, and other contractual communications.

* Support project teams with contract interpretation, enforcement, and compliance tracking.

* Resolve or assist in handling disputes, claims, and litigation matters.

* Ensure all contracts comply with federal, state, and local laws.

* Coordinate with external counsel on high-volume or complex matters.

* Maintain organized records of contract versions, amendments, approvals, and deadlines.

* Review NDAs, vendor agreements, and internal policies as needed.

Qualifications:

* Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in the State of Texas

* 3-5 years of experience in contract law, ideally with exposure to commercial transactions, supply agreements, and licensing

* Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation strategies, and risk management

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Strong written and verbal communication abilities

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management tools
