Corporate Insurance Associate/Senior Associate
Our client, a leading Silver Circle City law firm, is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join their highly regarded Corporate Insurance team in London. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of the insurance sector, advising on complex, high-value transactions for some of the most prominent names in the industry.
The Opportunity
You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative team that advises a prestigious client base, including major insurers, reinsurers, and financial institutions.
- 75%+ insurance-focused work, remainder other financial services / general M&A
The role offers a rich variety of work, with a strong focus on non-contentious corporate insurance matters such as:
- Public and private M&A
- Business transfers and restructurings
- Reinsurance arrangements
- Regulatory advisory work
- Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
You will be encouraged to take on a client-facing role, lead negotiations, and supervise junior team members, all while working on headline-making deals that shape the future of the insurance industry.
The successful individual is likely to have:
- 3+ years’ PQE with strong experience in corporate insurance
- Excellent academic credentials
- Proven ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision
- Experience of some or all of the following: Insurance sector M&A and restructuring, Part VII transfers, reinsurance, or regulatory advice to insurers and/or other financial institutions
