This role offers exposure to a broad range of compliance, governance, quality, and risk management activities, making it ideal for a compliance professional looking to further develop their expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.<\/p>\n<h3>The Opportunity<\/h3>\n<p>Working as part of a specialist Governance &amp; Risk team, you will play a key role in supporting the firm&#8217;s risk management and compliance framework. The position offers a varied workload spanning compliance monitoring, quality management, regulatory compliance, training, reporting, and policy development.<\/p>\n<p>You will work closely with stakeholders across both legal and business services teams, helping to promote best practice, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory and professional obligations.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the ongoing maintenance and development of the firm&#8217;s quality management and compliance framework.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with regulatory compliance projects and governance initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct file reviews, audits, and compliance monitoring activities.<\/li>\n<li>Support external accreditation processes and participate in internal and external audits.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation and updating of policies, procedures, and governance documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor compliance developments and regulatory updates, producing internal communications and alerts.<\/li>\n<li>Attend stakeholder meetings and help communicate governance and risk matters across the business.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of committee papers, management reports, and compliance documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Support insurance-related processes, including claims tracking and annual insurance renewals.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out compliance research to support policy development and risk management initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver compliance training and awareness sessions to colleagues across the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with teams across the business to promote a positive risk and compliance culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p>We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience within a Risk &amp; Compliance, Governance, or Regulatory role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of AML regulations, GDPR, conflicts management, and legal regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of risk management principles and current compliance trends.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>A high level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>A proactive, team-oriented approach and a willingness to contribute new ideas and process improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
