Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\nReal Estate Transactions & Development<\/h4>\n\n- Lead legal support for land acquisition, disposition, and development transactions.<\/li>\n
- Structure, draft, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, easements, joint ventures, partnership agreements, and development contracts.<\/li>\n
- Manage legal due diligence, including title, zoning, land use, entitlement, and environmental matters.<\/li>\n
- Partner with business leaders to assess transaction risk and optimize deal structures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Contract Management & Legal Operations<\/h4>\n\n- Draft, review, and negotiate construction, vendor, professional services, brokerage, and development agreements.<\/li>\n
- Develop contract standards, templates, and approval processes to improve efficiency and consistency.<\/li>\n
- Provide guidance on customer agreements, warranties, and disclosure requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Executive & Strategic Legal Counsel<\/h4>\n\n- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on legal, regulatory, and business matters.<\/li>\n
- Support strategic growth initiatives, market expansion efforts, and joint venture opportunities.<\/li>\n
- Provide practical legal guidance that balances business objectives with risk management considerations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Litigation, Risk & Compliance<\/h4>\n\n- Manage litigation, claims, disputes, and oversight of outside counsel.<\/li>\n
- Advise on risk mitigation strategies involving contracts, construction matters, insurance requirements, and property-related disputes.<\/li>\n
- Support compliance initiatives across multiple business functions and operating entities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Cross-Functional Leadership<\/h4>\n\n- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Construction, Sales, and Human Resources teams.<\/li>\n
- Deliver legal training and guidance to business stakeholders across the organization.<\/li>\n
- Serve as a trusted internal resource known for practical and solutions-oriented counsel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
