Reporting into senior compliance and legal leadership, the Trade Compliance Officer will act as a key advisor across the organization, bridging regulatory requirements with operational realities.<\/span><\/p>\n

You will be instrumental in both designing the compliance landscape and ensuring its day-to-day effectiveness in a fast-evolving, international setting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Act as the go-to specialist for trade compliance matters across the business, covering strategic, operational, and technical aspects<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Serve as the primary interface with relevant regulatory authorities in the Netherlands<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Develop and embed policies, procedures, and controls that form a scalable global compliance framework<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Lead compliance activities locally while contributing to broader international initiatives<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Provide clear, pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders on compliance risks and regulatory developments<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Implement monitoring processes and reporting structures to ensure ongoing compliance effectiveness<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Support business-critical projects, including geographic expansion and corporate growth initiatives, from a compliance perspective<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Champion a culture where compliance is viewed as a business enabler rather than a constraint<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

About you:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience & Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Solid experience (typically 5-10 years) within compliance, legal, or regulatory roles<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Strong working knowledge of EU and Dutch trade compliance and export control regulations<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Background in a technology-driven or manufacturing environment, ideally within a high-growth setting<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Demonstrated experience establishing or enhancing compliance frameworks and processes<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Ability to interpret technical products and components through a regulatory lens<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Pragmatic approach, balancing risk management with business objectives<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span>Comfortable operating in an environment where structures are still evolving<\/span><\/p>\n
