This is a broad legal and commercial role reflecting the innovative multi-disciplinary approach of the business. This high-profile role will provide legal advice and support to the business on commercial and operational matters. The role will require the candidate to manage <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt;color: black\">a broad spectrum of commercial legal work. The successful candidate will be able to engage<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> with colleagues in a diverse range of functions and backgrounds. As well as drafting, negotiating, agreeing and managing a wide range of contractual arrangements with customers, suppliers and industry partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">The candidate must bring a proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to legal matters and a proven ability to work collaboratively across the organisation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong style=\"color: black;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">About you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm or in-house. Defence sector experience is essential. You will have experience<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> of wide range of contract types including supply, procurement, technology, services and government contracts. Experience on both supplier and customer sides is strongly preferred. Understanding of government contracting processes, classified environments, defence procurement frameworks and government customer contracting would be advantageous<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt;color: black\">. Ideally you would have experience of working in a fast-paced in-house environment.
