{"id":120150,"date":"2026-05-06T14:47:19","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T14:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/job\/us-capital-markets-lawyer-paris\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T14:47:20","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T14:47:20","slug":"us-capital-markets-lawyer-paris-120150","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/zh-hans\/job\/us-capital-markets-lawyer-paris-120150\/","title":{"rendered":"US Capital Markets Lawyer &#8211; Paris"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>US Capital Markets Lawyer &#8211; Paris<\/h3>\n<p><em>(ECM \/ DCM \/ US Securities)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A leading international law firm is seeking a <strong>US\u2011qualified capital markets lawyer<\/strong> to join its <strong>Paris\u2011based US securities practice<\/strong>, working on some of the most significant <strong>cross\u2011border ECM and DCM transactions in Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is an established, high\u2011performing practice advising <strong>European and international issuers, financial institutions, and sponsors<\/strong> on complex US securities matters, including <strong>SEC\u2011registered transactions and 144A \/ Reg S offerings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>The role<\/h4>\n<p>You will be involved in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>US equity and debt capital markets transactions<\/li>\n<li>US securities law advice for European and international clients<\/li>\n<li>Acting on IPOs, follow\u2011ons, high\u2011yield and investment\u2011grade debt, and hybrid instruments<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with Paris\u2011based and international colleagues on multi\u2011jurisdictional matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The practice offers genuine responsibility, close partner access, and the opportunity to be highly visible in the European capital markets scene.<\/p>\n<h4>The ideal profile<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>US\u2011qualified (NY preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Solid experience in <strong>US capital markets \/ US securities<\/strong> (ECM and\/or DCM)<\/li>\n<li>Strong academic background and training from a top\u2011tier firm<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience in <strong>Paris<\/strong>, a <strong>French\u2011speaking environment<\/strong>, or a demonstrable <strong>affinity with French culture<\/strong> is highly attractive (fluency not required)<\/li>\n<li>Looking to build a <strong>long\u2011term international career<\/strong> in Paris<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Why consider this opportunity?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A <strong>true Paris-based role<\/strong> (not a satellite or rotational position)<\/li>\n<li>High\u2011quality, sophisticated work with international visibility<\/li>\n<li>Competitive US\u2011market remuneration<\/li>\n<li>Collegial, internationally focused team with a strong growth trajectory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This role would suit lawyers currently based in <strong>New York, London, or Europe<\/strong> who are open to (or actively seeking) a move to Paris, as well as those already on the ground looking to step into a leading US capital markets platform.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
