The organisation distributes innovative pet insurance solutions both directly and through partnerships such as white\u2011label, co\u2011branding and affiliate models. With strong growth ambitions and a scale\u2011up culture, the business combines regulatory complexity with a highly commercial, international environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>About the role<\/h3>\n<p>As In-House Legal Adviser, you act as the primary legal contact for the European Wholesale organisation. This team focuses on partnerships for distributing pet insurance through white\u2011label, co\u2011branding and affiliate models.<\/p>\n<p>During the first 6-12 months, your role will combine Wholesale-related work with support for the Dutch operating entity. As Wholesale activities further scale, your focus will shift fully to this area.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including:\n<ul>\n<li>distribution and introducer agreements<\/li>\n<li>IT, outsourcing and supplier contracts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Developing bespoke legal documentation for new projects and initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Updating documentation in response to changes in laws and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Advising the business on financial services and insurance regulations (NL &amp; EU)<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with Compliance on policies, guidelines and regulatory consultations<\/li>\n<li>Actively contributing to internal regulatory watch activities<\/li>\n<li>Handling day-to-day legal questions from the business<\/li>\n<li>Supporting disputes and claims<\/li>\n<li>Managing and coordinating external legal counsel where required<\/li>\n<li>Reporting into governance bodies such as the Risk &amp; Audit Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dutch-qualified lawyer with minimum 5 years PQE<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Dutch and English (a third European language is a plus)<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable providing clear, pragmatic advice to senior management<\/li>\n<li>Structured, resilient and results-oriented working style<\/li>\n<li>Experience within a fast-growing or changing organisation<\/li>\n<li>Background in financial services and\/or insurance<\/li>\n<li>In-house experience and\/or experience at a reputable law firm<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of data protection, IT and outsourcing contracts<\/li>\n<li>International experience and\/or dual EU qualification is advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a dog-friendly office environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZWxpb3R0Yy4xMTg4My4xMjk1OEBzcmdyb3VwLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":787,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_cn_metabox_post_checkbox_dont_send_once":false,"_cn_metabox_post_checkbox_dont_send_ever":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Amsterdam, North Holland","_application":"eliottc.11883.12958@srgroup.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":1,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[],"srgroup_job_contract":[7],"srgroup_job_hour":[],"srgroup_job_region":[248,247],"srgroup_job_specialism":[239],"srgroup_job_arrangement":[32],"srgroup_job_source":[10,11],"srgroup_job_experience":[161],"srgroup_job_industry":[240],"class_list":{"0":"post-120009","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-expired","4":"hentry","6":"job_position_featured"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.4 (Yoast SEO v25.4) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Find your new job legal, risk or compliance job with In-House Legal Adviser - Insurance<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"We are your go-to global legal, risk and compliance recruitment experts.
