This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and technically strong lawyer who enjoys working with major contractors, consultants, insurers, and developers on complex, high\u2011value projects.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Role Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise clients on all aspects of non\u2011contentious construction law, including procurement strategies, project structures, and contract negotiation.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review, and amend industry\u2011standard and bespoke construction documentation, including JCT, NEC, FIDIC, professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds, and guarantees.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with clients across the full project lifecycle, offering commercially robust and pragmatic advice.<\/li>\n<li>Support senior stakeholders and partners on major UK and international infrastructure and development projects.<\/li>\n<li>Manage client relationships, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for further support.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with business development activities, including contributing to thought leadership, attending industry events, and supporting client pitches.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor junior lawyers and trainees within the team, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management frameworks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidate Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified Solicitor in England &amp; Wales with 6+ years&#8217; post\u2011qualification experience in non\u2011contentious construction law.<\/li>\n<li>Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating construction contracts and ancillary documentation.<\/li>\n<li>A track record of advising on complex construction and infrastructure projects, ideally across multiple sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to deliver practical, client\u2011focused advice.<\/li>\n<li>Confident working autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues and project teams.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, relationship\u2011building, and client\u2011handling skills.<\/li>\n<li>Interest in supporting business development and growing client relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Experience within a recognised construction practice (boutique or large firm) is advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
