This is an excellent opportunity to gain substantial exposure to high\u2011level corporate matters and work closely with a team of lawyers who have trained and excelled at top international firms across M&amp;A and private equity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">While this is a 12\u2011month FTC with no immediate plans for further progression, it offers a strong platform for individuals looking to build on their existing experience and deepen their exposure to corporate transactional work that you wouldn&#8217;t get at larger firms across the market. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Some Responsibilities: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support the drafting, review and organisation of transaction documents, including NDAs, SPAs, disclosure schedules, SHAs, management incentive plans, corporate approvals and other ancillary agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate all aspects of deal execution by managing signing and closing checklists, assembling signature pages and preparing closing sets\/bibles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee due diligence processes, including gathering documents, updating trackers, liaising with internal teams and foreign counsel, and preparing summaries of key issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain and update transaction trackers, cap tables, data rooms and other internal or client-facing workflow tools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist with Companies House filings and conduct financial and corporate information checks, ensuring the accuracy of corporate records.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicate directly with clients, external counsel, counterparties and internal deal teams to facilitate efficient information sharing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Carry out legal and market research to support Associates on transaction-specific matters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide general administrative support, such as proofreading documents, preparing filings and managing deal-related correspondence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Candidate Expectations: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prior corporate experience in M&amp;A or private equity at a leading City law firm is essential. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong academic background, ideally with a law degree from a Russell Group university. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 10pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">   <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period (maximum of one month)<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
