{"id":117584,"date":"2026-03-12T09:31:31","date_gmt":"2026-03-12T09:31:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/job\/senior-compliance-officer\/"},"modified":"2026-03-12T09:31:32","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T09:31:32","slug":"senior-compliance-officer-117584","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/zh-hans\/job\/senior-compliance-officer-117584\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Compliance Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">I&#8217;m exclusively partnering with a US firm that is looking to engage with Senior AML professionals for a role based in London.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This role will serve as a senior figure within the firm&#8217;s London compliance function, providing significant exposure to more complex queries.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Key Responsibilities: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Serve as the senior escalation point for complex AML, risk, and compliance queries arising within the London office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Act as the UK subject\u2011matter expert on compliance obligations and represent the function with senior stakeholders and partners<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage and respond to AML audits, reviews, and investigations from the SRA or other regulatory bodies, ensuring accurate, timely submissions and robust remedial action where required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lead regulatory horizon scanning and ensure the firm remains fully compliant with the SRA Standards &amp; Regulations and other relevant legislation<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Develop, refine, and implement the UK compliance framework, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and guidance materials.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Candidate Expectations: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">4+ years AML experience within a leading law firm <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Deep understanding of the UK regulatory landscape, including SRA Codes of Conduct, Money Laundering Regulations and relevant guidance <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency with Intapp Open, including conflict checking and AML functionality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience using screening tools such as World Check, S&amp;P Global, Dun &amp; Bradstreet, Orbis, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
