Legal Director, Digital
Taylor Root has been exclusively instructed to find an outstanding Legal Director (Digital) for an incredible and leading not-for-profit organisation focusing on climate change and environmental issues worldwide.
As part of this truly global business, you will deliver legal support for all CDP digital/technology procurement and infrastructure to support the disclosure platform, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating digital technology contracts (e.g. PaaS, SaaS contracts, bespoke developments, hosting contracts, systems integration agreements, outsourcing agreements including frameworks and statements of work, reviewing IT and digital vendor standard terms, NDAs, MOUs, R&D and other collaborations with digital vendors/partners).
The successful applicant will be qualified in England & Wales, ideally with a minimum of 8 years+ post qualification experience and extensive in-house experience with expertise in digital technology contracts. Team management experience would be advantageous as you will manage a junior lawyer who reports into you.
Strong experience of building close collaborative working relationships is crucial. You will be approachable, a great communicator and demonstrate excellent judgement and pragmatism.
