A leading global real estate private equity firm is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join its legal team in Boston, MA. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role at a world-class fund manager without sacrificing the compensation associated with Big Law.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide transactional legal support for real estate investments, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development deals.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents such as purchase agreements, loan documents, JV agreements, and NDAs.
- Advise internal deal teams and senior leadership on legal and business risks.
- Support ongoing corporate governance and general legal matters.
- Work closely with the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of legal experience with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
- Top law firm training required; in-house experience with investment firms or REITs a plus.
- Strong familiarity with complex deal structures, JV formations, and capital markets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
Compensation:
- Highly competitive base + bonus (commensurate with Big Law compensation)
