What skills and attributes do female leaders bring to create diverse leadership at management level?
My experience is that they are more focused on consensus and coaching their team members to come to the answers themselves.

What does “choose to challenge” mean to you?
Speaking up, telling truth to power and ensure that you voice is heard so that things can improve in a constructive way.

What is one lesson you learnt the hard way?
That everyone needs help and there’s no shame to it. You just have to learn how and when to ask for help.

How can female leaders ensure they get a seat at the table?
They should stop pretending they’re not female and not leaders! Embrace their role and don’t be afraid to be controversial.

What impact could Kamala Harris’ appointment to Vice President have on the next generation of female leaders?
She will have a tremendous impact if only because of the visual impact of seeing her in her role.

What is one thing women don’t talk about enough?
Themselves.

What are you really, really good at?
Bringing lots of different strands together into a clearly understandable big picture.

Why is it important that we “choose to challenge” and call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping?
If we don’t challenge the status quo nothing will change.
