Alex is a Partner in our Dusseldorf office and the Head of DACH for all of The SR Group brands in the region (Carter Murray, Frazer Jones and Taylor Root). He is responsible for leading the teams in Dusseldorf and Frankfurt and building the brand of The SR Group across the region. Alex started his career in recruitment in 2000 in London, before moving to Amsterdam and from there, to Germany in 2004. He built up his experience at one of the world’s largest recruitment organisations, for whom he built the DACH business into one the largest businesses in the group. Alex went on to specialise in the HR-tech start-up industry and restructured a larger German recruitment company. He has also supported several PE and VC owned recruitment companies in scaling in the DACH region. Alex is a strong developer of succession in all the businesses he has operated in, delivering high yielding permanent and contract recruitment teams. His understanding of recruitment, start-ups, HR technology, and culture, make him best placed to continue the success of The SR Group into the DACH region.
