{"id":127917,"date":"2026-10-20T09:09:39","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T09:09:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/job\/senior-kyc-analyst\/"},"modified":"2026-10-20T09:09:40","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T09:09:40","slug":"senior-kyc-analyst-127917","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/nl\/job\/senior-kyc-analyst-127917\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior KYC Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>About the Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Our client is a leading European private equity firm with operations across multiple jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity for an experienced KYC\/AML professional looking to take ownership of complex due diligence matters within a private markets environment.<\/p>\n<p>You will work across investors, portfolio companies and other counterparties, combining technical AML\/KYC expertise with direct stakeholder interaction and a pragmatic, commercial approach.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">KYC, AML &amp; Due Diligence<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Independently manage AML\/KYC reviews across the investment platform, from onboarding through periodic and event-driven reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Your remit will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CDD and enhanced due diligence (EDD)<\/li>\n<li>Complex ownership structures and UBO \/ pseudo-UBO identification<\/li>\n<li>PEP assessments<\/li>\n<li>Source of funds and source of wealth<\/li>\n<li>Sanctions and adverse media screening<\/li>\n<li>AML\/KYC risk assessments and risk classifications<\/li>\n<li>High-risk relationships and escalations<\/li>\n<li>Periodic and event-driven reviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will prepare well-substantiated risk assessment memoranda and provide practical recommendations on complex or higher-risk relationships.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Investors, Portfolio Companies &amp; Counterparties<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage KYC requirements relating to investors, relevant portfolio companies and other counterparties.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct AML\/KYC and sanctions due diligence in connection with investments, acquisitions, disposals and other transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise directly with investors, counterparties and external service providers to obtain and verify KYC documentation and resolve outstanding matters.<\/li>\n<li>Handle external KYC requests relating to the investment manager, its funds and related entities, preparing and providing the required information and supporting documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Investment, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk and fund administrators to resolve complex cases and ensure timely completion of KYC processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">AML\/KYC Framework &amp; Regulatory Developments<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain complete, accurate and audit-ready AML\/KYC documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare management reporting covering high-risk relationships, outstanding reviews, identified risks and remediation actions.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of KYC processes, systems, controls and screening tools.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor developments across the Dutch and European AML\/CFT and sanctions framework, including the Wwft, Dutch sanctions legislation, EU sanctions requirements and the evolving AMLR framework.<\/li>\n<li>Support regulatory examinations, internal audits and external reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to AML\/KYC training and provide practical guidance to internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 8-10 years of relevant AML\/KYC experience, ideally gained within private equity, venture capital, an AIFM, asset management, financial services or fiduciary\/corporate services.<\/li>\n<li>A degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the Dutch and European AML\/CFT regulatory framework, including Wwft, Dutch sanctions legislation, EU sanctions requirements and AMLR.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with CDD, EDD, UBO and pseudo-UBO identification, PEP assessments, sanctions and adverse media screening, source of funds and source of wealth.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, investment vehicles and investor onboarding, including complex multi-jurisdictional structures.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience independently managing complex and high-risk KYC cases, including risk assessments and escalations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with AML\/KYC systems, screening databases and monitoring tools.<\/li>\n<li>A pragmatic and commercial mindset, with the ability to apply regulatory requirements to complex situations and develop practical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>A proactive and independent approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive matters forward.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English.
