Operating in a fast-paced, innovative environment, the business is continuing to expand its network, product offering and market presence, creating a varied and highly commercial role for an ambitious lawyer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will act as a trusted legal adviser, helping the business achieve its strategic objectives while managing legal and regulatory risk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, strategic projects and commercial growth initiatives. You&#8217;ll work across a broad range of legal matters, partnering with teams throughout the business to deliver pragmatic, business-focused advice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders across a range of business functions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, partnership and strategic contracts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support business growth initiatives, including network expansion, new products, commercial opportunities and strategic projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Advise on regulatory, compliance and risk-management issues, balancing legal requirements with commercial objectives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage disputes, claims and contentious matters, liaising with external counsel where required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support corporate governance and company secretarial activities as needed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Drive efficiencies within the legal function through the development of templates, playbooks and streamlined processes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide clear guidance on their potential impact to the business.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 10pt\">About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will be a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys partnering with the business and finding practical solutions to complex challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You are likely to have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Qualified as a solicitor in England &amp; Wales or another common law jurisdiction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum of 2 years&#8217; PQE gained within a leading law firm and\/or in-house legal team.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent commercial judgement and an ability to provide pragmatic, solution-oriented advice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for non-legal audiences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This is a broad and commercially impactful in-house role within a dynamic and growing business, this represents an outstanding opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
