It is an ideal opportunity for a lawyer looking to move into a strategic in-house risk role or further develop an existing risk and compliance career within a sophisticated law firm environment.<\/p>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>Reporting into the Head of Legal &amp; Regulatory Risk, responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advising on a broad range of legal, regulatory and professional conduct issues.<\/li>\n<li>Drafting, reviewing and updating risk management policies, procedures and guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Managing and responding to day-to-day risk and compliance queries from across the business.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and negotiating commercial and supplier agreements, including technology vendor contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting data protection compliance matters, including subject access requests and data breaches.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing client terms, outside counsel guidelines and amendments to standard terms of business.<\/li>\n<li>Advising fee earners and business services teams on risk-related matters.<\/li>\n<li>Delivering risk and compliance training across the firm.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting firmwide and cross-functional risk projects.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and providing practical guidance to stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with complex conflicts and sanctions-related matters where required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p>We are keen to speak with qualified solicitors who have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years&#8217; PQE.<\/li>\n<li>Experience gained within a law firm&#8217;s Risk, Compliance, General Counsel or Professional Standards function, or relevant private practice experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks affecting law firms, including SRA regulations and data protection.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to balance commercial objectives with effective risk management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational skills and the confidence to manage competing priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What&#8217;s on Offer<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to join a highly regarded international law firm.<\/li>\n<li>Broad and varied risk remit with significant stakeholder exposure.<\/li>\n<li>High-profile project work and opportunities to influence firmwide initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and supportive team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive salary and benefits package.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible hybrid working arrangements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For a confidential discussion, please get in touch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
