Backed by a leading global investment platform, the business develops, acquires and operates large-scale data centre assets in high-growth markets.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The organisation is led by an experienced team with extensive expertise in the design, construction and operation of critical digital infrastructure. With ambitious growth plans and significant capital backing, this is an opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of its development.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Role<\/p>\n<p>The Legal Counsel will act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing strategic legal support across acquisitions, leasing, construction, procurement and compliance matters. The role sits at the heart of a growing international platform and offers broad exposure to complex transactions and operational matters.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the preparation and development of template documentation for acquisitions, leasing and procurement activities.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating, drafting and advising on complex commercial agreements, including construction contracts, supply chain arrangements and leasing documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Advising on legal risk allocation and mitigation strategies across a range of projects.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting contract administration, claims management and dispute resolution processes.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure governance, compliance and change management procedures are robust and effective.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and support commercial objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidate Profile<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Essential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified lawyer with approximately 2-5 years&#8217; PQE.<\/li>\n<li>Strong construction and development experience.<\/li>\n<li>Proven transactional experience gained in private practice and\/or in-house.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk against business priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable managing a varied and fast-moving workload.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience negotiating complex construction and supply chain contracts, including FIDIC-based agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Previous exposure to the data centre, digital infrastructure, telecommunications or other mission-critical infrastructure sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working across multiple European jurisdictions.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with colocation, hyperscale leasing or similar commercial arrangements.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to real estate and corporate acquisition transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location<\/p>\n<p>London-based role with a hybrid working model.<\/p>\n<p>Travel within Europe may be required.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Reporting Line<\/p>\n<p>Reports into the Legal Director.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Diversity &amp; Inclusion<\/p>\n<p>The company is committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of background.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
