Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the Board and leadership team.  A trusted business partner, helping shape strategy, support growth initiatives, and build the legal foundations of a company with global ambitions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help the company navigate growth opportunities while managing legal risk in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Your responsibilities will include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Acting as a trusted adviser to the CEO, Board and leadership team on a broad range of legal and commercial matters. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Leading the negotiation and management of commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and strategic partners. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Supporting fundraising activities, investor engagement and corporate transactions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Supporting international expansion projects and cross-border business activities. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Leading the legal function and managing relationships with external counsel. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Taking ownership of corporate governance and company secretarial responsibilities<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Providing guidance on compliance, data protection, risk management and regulatory matters<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Leading the legal function and managing relationships with external counsel. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">You will be a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys being close to the business and thrives in a dynamic growth environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">You are likely to have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Around 6-9 years&#8217; PQE with a strong background in corporate and commercial law<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Experience gained in a leading law firm, an innovative in-house environment, or a combination of both. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Strong commercial contracting experience and confidence advising senior stakeholders. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Exposure to fundraising transactions, corporate governance and board-level matters. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">The ability to balance legal risk with commercial opportunity and provide pragmatic, solution-focused advice. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the confidence to operate as a standalone legal leader.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Experience in MedTech, life sciences, healthcare or other regulated sectors would be advantageous.
