This is a <strong>senior, hands-on role<\/strong> within a lean legal team, offering broad exposure across commercial, governance and compliance matters.<\/p>\n<p>This position is offered on a <strong>part-time basis (3 days per week)<\/strong> and is ideal for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<h3>The Opportunity<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior interim role supporting the EMEA General Counsel across a diverse legal remit<\/li>\n<li>Fully remote, with <strong>1-2 visits per month<\/strong> to a UK office (Midlands)<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to step into an established role and shape legal processes across a growing international business<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to a dynamic, acquisition-led environment across the UK and Europe<\/li>\n<li>Strong potential for extension or longer-term opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide pragmatic legal advice across a broad range of commercial matters, including supplier, logistics, SaaS and service agreements<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of a <strong>significant leased property portfolio<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Act as a key liaison with external counsel across regions<\/li>\n<li>Support and progressively take ownership of <strong>corporate governance and company secretarial matters<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Drive compliance initiatives across areas including regulatory, sustainability and governance<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with sustainability teams, particularly on evolving EU regulations and greenwashing risk<\/li>\n<li>Assist with legal operations, including contract management systems and template development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>UK-qualified lawyer with <strong>strong private practice training and in-house experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to operate at a <strong>senior level within a small or lean legal team<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable working in a <strong>fast-paced, high-growth environment<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Confident engaging with senior business stakeholders (including regional leadership)<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on and adaptable &#8211; willing to support across both strategic and administrative tasks<\/li>\n<li>Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in sectors such as <strong>retail, logistics or FMCG<\/strong> is advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Interest in <strong>compliance, governance and sustainability frameworks<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The Environment<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Private equity-backed business with ambitious growth plans<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative but high-performance culture<\/li>\n<li>EMEA region undergoing transformation following acquisition-led growth<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to make a meaningful impact and build structure in a scaling organisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3> <\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
