{"id":121898,"date":"2026-06-24T11:49:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T11:49:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/job\/senior-compliance-manager-law-firm\/"},"modified":"2026-06-24T11:49:36","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T11:49:36","slug":"senior-compliance-manager-law-firm-121898","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/nl\/job\/senior-compliance-manager-law-firm-121898\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Compliance Manager &#8211; Law Firm"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<h2><strong>Senior Compliance Manager<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A leading London-based law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join its established Risk &amp; Information Security function.<\/p>\n<p>You will play a key role in maintaining regulatory standards, supporting fee earners, and contributing to firm-wide risk initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting into senior leadership within Risk &amp; Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting core compliance programmes and providing expert guidance across the business.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Triaging conflicts issues and advising on SRA Code of Conduct requirements<\/li>\n<li>Supporting new client onboarding processes and use of onboarding systems<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing client complaints and supporting resolution processes<\/li>\n<li>Preparing correspondence and liaising with internal stakeholders and external bodies (including regulators and ombudsman services)<\/li>\n<li>Acting as a key point of contact for compliance queries across the firm<\/li>\n<li>Advising on professional standards, engagement terms, and regulatory obligations<\/li>\n<li>Drafting and updating internal policies (e.g. conflicts, AML, modern slavery, insider dealing)<\/li>\n<li>Supporting ISO standards compliance<\/li>\n<li>Conducting internal file reviews to ensure consistent application of standards<\/li>\n<li>Supporting risk and compliance projects and research initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with wider regulatory and operational risk programmes<\/li>\n<li>Managing document requests from clients and third parties (including regulatory and law enforcement bodies)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4> <\/h4>\n<h4><strong>About You<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Qualified solicitor, barrister, or equivalent (or relevant experience within a law firm risk\/compliance function)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>4+ years&#8217; PQE or equivalent experience<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong working knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct and regulatory framework<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience or understanding of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AML, sanctions, and source of funds<\/li>\n<li>Conflicts of interest<\/li>\n<li>Data protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Excellent written and communication skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Confident dealing with senior stakeholders<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested?
