They are seeking a talented and commercially minded VP Legal to join their high performing team. This role plays an integral role in overseeing legal governance and risk management, while actively supporting the business through a period of growth and transformation. This includes ensuring legal frameworks, governance, and commercial contracts continue to develop the business&#8217; expanding global footprint and strategic ambitions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 11pt\">Role Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;font-size: 11pt\">Act as a strategic partner and deputy to the Chief Legal Officer, helping to implement the vision, structure, and goals of the global Legal Team.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;font-size: 11pt\">Support the transformation of the business by ensuring legal frameworks, governance, and risk management align with evolving global operations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;font-size: 11pt\">Advise on corporate matters such as joint ventures, group-wide initiatives, and ad hoc corporate transactions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;font-size: 11pt\">Provide legal support on intellectual property, compliance, litigation, data protection, and other risk-related matters.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;font-size: 11pt\">Role-modelling strategic partnership with all areas of the business and creating a best in class function.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black;font-size: 11pt\">Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to influence both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic direction.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 11pt\">Who You Are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 11pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">       <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in both private practice and in-house roles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 11pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">       <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and corporate agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 11pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">       <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to partner effectively with business leaders to enable growth and transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 11pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">       <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;color: black\">Demonstrated leadership experience, including direct management of legal professionals and support of executive-level decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 11pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">       <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;color: black\">Demonstrates resilience and adaptability, with the ability to lead effectively through periods of change and business transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 11pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">       <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">Excellent independent drafting skills with strong experience of commercial contracts and negotiation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 11pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">       <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">Experience gained within the services or travel logistics industry or similar environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;font-size: 11pt\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">       <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">Strategic thinking with a keen eye for future trends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">A resilient and commercially driven mindset is critical, as well as the ability to operate autonomously within a dynamic, fast-paced commercial setting.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
