{"id":119862,"date":"2026-04-27T18:56:39","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T18:56:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/job\/in-house-employment-lawyer-professional-services\/"},"modified":"2026-04-27T18:56:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T18:56:41","slug":"in-house-employment-lawyer-professional-services-119862","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.taylorroot.com\/nl\/job\/in-house-employment-lawyer-professional-services-119862\/","title":{"rendered":"In-House Employment Lawyer &#8211; Professional Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<div>\n<h2>Employment Lawyer (ER) &#8211; Professional Services <\/h2>\n<p><strong>London | Hybrid (60% office-based) | Full-time preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A top international law firm are seeking an <strong>Employment Relations Lawyer <\/strong>to join a collaborative, global Employment Relations team at an exciting point of change and growth.<\/p>\n<p>This role is ideal for an employment lawyer with <strong>around 4-5 years&#8217; PQE<\/strong>, either already in-house or ready to make the move from a strong employer-facing private practice background.<\/p>\n<h3> <\/h3>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>This is a broad, hands-on role covering the full employee lifecycle, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employee relations advisory work (grievances, disciplinaries, performance management)<\/li>\n<li>Managing complex and sensitive matters, including litigation and tribunal claims<\/li>\n<li>Employment aspects of restructurings and other corporate activity<\/li>\n<li>Drafting and updating contracts, templates and policies<\/li>\n<li>Advising on policy rollouts, benefits changes and exceptions<\/li>\n<li>Delivering and supporting employment law training<\/li>\n<li>Supporting on major firm-wide initiatives <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be trusted to run matters independently and play an active role across the wider business.<\/p>\n<p>This is a <strong>global role<\/strong>, advising across multiple jurisdictions and working closely with risk, procurement and specialist support functions.<\/p>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Circa <strong>4-5 years&#8217; PQE<\/strong> in employment law<\/li>\n<li>Strong employer-side experience (in-house or private practice)<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable advising independently and managing a varied workload<\/li>\n<li>Experience building trusted relationships in a complex organisation<\/li>\n<li>England &amp; Wales qualified preferred, but other comparable common law qualifications considered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Apply?<\/strong><br \/> This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected Employment Relations team with meaningful influence, interesting work and genuine scope for progression.
