This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on exposure to the establishment and ongoing operation of hedge funds, private equity funds and alternative investment structures, working closely with first class lawyers and international stakeholders<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Whilst there are no immediate plans for further progression, the role offers a high level of responsibility and client interaction, making it ideal for candidates looking to deepen their funds expertise in a fast paced, commercial environment that you would not typically access at larger, process heavy firms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Some Responsibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Supporting the launch and structuring of investment funds, including involvement from inception through to operation <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Drafting and reviewing funds and corporate documentation using established precedents <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Acting as a key liaison with external law firms on fund launches and ongoing matters <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Coordinating regulatory filings and approvals and managing ongoing compliance requirements <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Reviewing transaction documents and supporting post completion work <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Assisting with restructurings, liquidations and wind downs <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Contributing to ad hoc projects and broader transactional matters as they arise<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Candidate Expectations:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Prior corporate experience in a Funds team at a leading City law firm is essential.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">* Strong academic background, ideally with a law degree from a Russell Group university.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 8pt\">Please note our advertisements use PQE\/salary levels purely as a guide.
