This is a senior role with direct engagement across technical leadership and executive stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Overview<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">The AGC will lead the company&#8217;s intellectual property function while contributing to a wide range of commercial and strategic legal matters. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in IP strategy, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to translate complex issues into practical legal guidance. This role offers meaningful visibility and influence within a multidisciplinary, technology\u2011driven environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Location<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">The role is located in Virginia, they will consider candidates in the surrounding DMV area who are able to come in on a hybrid basis as well as candidates looking to relocate.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">This role<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"> reports directly to the General Counsel <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">and serves as the organization&#8217;s senior leader for all intellectual property matters.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Intellectual Property Leadership<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Develop and execute the organization&#8217;s long\u2011term IP strategy in alignment with evolving business and innovation priorities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Lead the full lifecycle of patent\u2011related activities, including evaluation of new ideas, coordination with technical teams, portfolio development, and enforcement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Oversee programs related to trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and other forms of IP protection.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Assess IP opportunities and risks, including analyses related to competitive landscapes and potential IP exposure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Implement structured processes for reviewing new concepts, evaluating portfolio performance, and facilitating cross\u2011functional IP decision\u2011making.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Commercial &amp; Strategic Support<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Draft, negotiate, and advise on agreements involving technology, collaboration, confidentiality, licensing, and other complex commercial arrangements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Partner with<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"> cross\u2011functional technical and business teams <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">to support legal needs tied to operations, technical initiatives, and organizational priorities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Provide IP\u2011focused guidance on transactions such as partnerships, acquisitions, or other strategic engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver clear, actionable legal advice that aligns with both technical considerations and business objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Leadership &amp;
