A leading multinational business is seeking a Head of Group Corporate and M&A to join its leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the successful candidate will lead the expansion of the Legal team in the area of Corporate, M&A/Transactions and Capital Markets. This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing, global B2C company.
About the Role:
This is a pivotal role that will provide strategic leadership. Key responsibilities include overseeing all legal matters related to corporate governance and significant transactions. You will be at the forefront of every major corporate transaction. Shaping and leading the organisation’s strategy and expertise in Corporate, M&A/Transactions and Capital Markets. In addition to setting the strategic vision, priorities, and goals for the Corporate and M&A Legal team.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, ideally combining top-tier law firm and/or in-house expertise within a multinational setting. You will have significant Corporate, M&A transactional experience and ideally have led an organisation through an IPO. In addition to strong leadership and management skills, proven ability to manage complex issues, and a business-focused mindset are essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills.
