Our client currently operates in 30+ countries across North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America with over 48,000 employees globally. Our client is looknig to hire a are looking to hire a Vice President, Legal Counsel to support the FX / Derivatives business here in Hong Kong.

Your New Role

You would provide legal counsel to the Markets team with a specific focus on FX / Derivatives and the Corporate Treasury team. You would be involved in negotiating and reviewing legal documentation (including ISDAs and CSAs, NAFMII, liquidity arrangements & etc,), reviewing netting and collateral opinions. You would also advise on regulatory issues and provide support to a broad range of matters and other projects and contribute as part of a larger team, and work collaboratively with team members to advise a business or functional area.

What you will need to succeed

The ideal candidate would be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 years PQE, specialising in derivatives, ideally FX. The ability to read and write in Chinese is essential. Prior in-house or secondment experience is prefered but not mandatory.
