US General Counsel – Global Technology Company

My client is a global leader in shared communications infrastructure, offering advanced end-to-end solutions and providing the connectivity customers need to advance in their services and networks. They are looking to appoint a new General Counsel US to support the business. Reporting to the CEO the candidate will be working closely with the Senior Management and various external stakeholders. This role will be a member of US SLT, playing a vital role in the management and expansion of the US business as the company makes this transition globally. This role will ensure the protection of US commercial relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners, advising on a wide range commercial, legal and strategic operations of the company.

This role is hybrid and based in New York City but can be seated in California or Chicago where other C-Suite execs are also positioned.

Experience & Knowledge Required

• Telecommunications background
• Juris Doctorate – Qualified in any state in the US
• Minimum 20 years post qualification experience in relevant private practice or inhouse role with a focus on telecommunications, public procurement, commercial and contract law
