US Capital Markets Lawyer – Paris

A leading international law firm is seeking a US‑qualified capital markets lawyer to join its Paris‑based US securities practice, working on some of the most significant cross‑border ECM and DCM transactions in Europe.
This is an established, high‑performing practice advising European and international issuers, financial institutions, and sponsors on complex US securities matters, including SEC‑registered transactions and 144A / Reg S offerings.
The role
You will be involved in:
- US equity and debt capital markets transactions
- US securities law advice for European and international clients
- Acting on IPOs, follow‑ons, high‑yield and investment‑grade debt, and hybrid instruments
- Working closely with Paris‑based and international colleagues on multi‑jurisdictional matters
The practice offers genuine responsibility, close partner access, and the opportunity to be highly visible in the European capital markets scene.
The ideal profile
- US‑qualified (NY preferred)
- Solid experience in US capital markets / US securities (ECM and/or DCM)
- Strong academic background and training from a top‑tier firm
- Prior experience in Paris, a French‑speaking environment, or a demonstrable affinity with French culture is highly attractive (fluency not required)
- Looking to build a long‑term international career in Paris
