Structured Finance Lawyer

I have been exclusively instructed on a unique opportunity with a leading specialist insurance broker for a structured finance lawyer who is looking to take on more of commercial role whilst still drawing on their technical legal training and experience. The role would be that of insurance broker reporting directly into the head of the team a former senior lawyer and underwriter. You will be responsible for a broad range of work, including structuring and execution of transactions, marketing to potential and existing clients to originate transactions and developing new business.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ post qualification experience with experience in structured finance including at least one of the following areas: securitisation, derivatives and/or debt financing and related regulations (such as CRR) where relevant.
It is important that you have an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to develop creative solutions for both clients and underwriters: Being a pro-active self-starter who is able, when required, to work outside of your comfort zone to develop a working knowledge of a new area of law, regulation or business is critical.
